CBSA Held “China Outlook 2026” Seminar

On 22 January 2026, the Hong Kong Chinese Banks’ Association held the “China Outlook 2026” seminar, featuring Ms. Jing Liu, Managing Director and Chief Economist for Greater China at HSBC Global Research, as the keynote speaker.  The event provided an in-depth analysis of China’s economic prospects for the coming year.

The seminar focused on the challenges and opportunities facing the Chinese economy amid ongoing changes, offering forward-looking insights. Leveraging her extensive in economic research, Ms. Liu engaged in detailed discussions with attendees, exploring how China can advance the rebalancing of its domestic economic structure and move forward sustainable, high-quality development.
